Why we are not an orphanage.

The term “orphanage” might be a good way to pull in money but we would rather describe ourselves as ’short-term transitional home’. We will provide specialist care to safeguard the lives of infants whose might otherwise be at terrible risk. Ultimately, our aim is for early rehabilitation …

    Hey Lucy,

Just thought i'd say I love the website, but I do have a suggestion to make things easier for viewers - maybe having a Search engine within the website to help people find things.

The reason I say this is because I can't find the Frequently Asked Questions sections you told me about earlier, and thought it would be useful if you had a "Search the website" box at the top of each page where I could type in "Frequently asked questions" and it would come up straight away!

Another thing which I didn't say in the focus group but since looking more at the website thisevening have noticed I think things would be clearer as you scroll down the page if they were put into clearer sections with bold titles, so you know exactly what you're looking at as you scroll down.

Anyway just thought I would give my opinion :) Love Hannah xx

  • Lucy,

You're doing an amazing job with this website. I'm really impressed. Keep up the great work! Are you up and running in Uganda yet?

    Thanks,
    Gerrid
  • Lucy Buck
    Hi Gerrid and Jessica,

Thanks for your support. I had a look at your great website www.mojuproject.com - the concept of buying a shirt and feeding a child for a month is really powerful and a great idea.

We are not up and running yet but off to Uganda in 4 days time to go on a planning trip. When we get back we want to raise the money as a community and if it all goes to plan we will be out there in September.

It would be great to keep in touch.
